A neighbors little tiny dog got out one day and came to our yard with our Great Dane. It thought it was ok to come in. Our Dane thought it was one of its stuffed toys and picked it up, and ran with it. Didn't hurt it, though . It was just covered in slobber, just like his stuffed toys.
