Lyrics:
oh gather round here
this news you must hear
a warning death knell
whimsical though, may it keep you well
Beyond the oak tree
they're moving silently
pray never go there
lest we recall that regrettable affair

Oh Mr. Emory a sad, sad one
a jack of many but an ace of none
Oh Mr. Emory your plan was flawed
You reap what you sow when you try to play God

Set us free, oh set us free
the cursed art of Emory
You're hurting us but you can't see
until the sword is turned on thee

we're coming, yes we're coming
we're breaking through the walls
we're coming, yes we're coming
birthed in the fire of this cursed hall

For years he did stray
in lands so far away
but he returned again
and that's when the mischief all began
He seemed much older
spirits grew colder
a strange new power
fell in his hands and the praise he did devour

Oh Mr. Emory a sad, sad start.
You gained such riches but you lost your heart
Oh Mr. Emory your craft you abuse
The lives you create are the ones you set loose

Set us free, oh set us free
the cursed art of Emory
You're hurting us but you can't see
until the sword is turned on thee

we're coming, yes we're coming
we're breaking through the walls
we're coming, yes we're coming
birthed in the fire of this cursed hall

He was drunk with power, you see? He had gained the ability to create life! Anything he drew with that cursed stick would spring into creation upon that very surface. Such an amazing gift! But he abused it. He tortured those creations. And one day he paid for it. A door was drawn, and they all came spilling through. Rumors have it, they're still lurking about even today. How do I know all this? Hahaha Take a closer look...

Set us free, oh set us free
the cursed art of Emory
You're hurting us but you can't see
until the sword is turned on thee

we're coming, yes we're coming
we're breaking through the walls
we're coming, yes we're coming
birthed in the fire of this cursed hall

we're coming, yes we're coming
we're breaking through the walls
we're coming, yes we're coming
Born in the flames that released us all

He must've been a writer.

I love the vibe of this song. The chorus has a lot of movement, especially when you both blend together. In my opinion it successfully portrayed the emotion in the original story, which I can truly appreciate. That alone had reminded me of the Marble Hornets song you released some time ago. Keep up the good work!

People comparing this story to “Bendy and the Ink Machine” while I’m over here thinking of “Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings” with the theme song perfectly explaining his situation:

“And you know my name is Simon, and the things I draw come true...."

The entire opening theme is just so creepy if you think about it:

Singer: “Well you know my name is Simon / And the things I draw come true / Oh the pictures take me, take me over / Climb the ladder with you / Well you know my name is Simon / And the things I draw come true / Oh the pictures take me, take me over...”

(From 1976)

The irony that I found this a day after I finished writing a book about my drawings coming to life... *incredible*

Somewhere in the hospital, Madame's song is being born. The woman paces in the waiting room when the doctor comes in. She looks up.
"Well?" She asks.
"Congratulations, Ms. Macabre. It's a bop."

Oh yes, this will make for a fine addition to my collection. All of your songs, no matter how little I know about what they're about, are awesome, and always manage to draw (eheh, draw) me in the stories they are inspired by. I am, admittedly, not a great fan of creepypasta anymore, but these songs? They're amazing on a level that trascends my knowledge or lack thereof. The unmistakable style, that beautiful voice (by the way, you've become so much better at singing!) and the chilling tune and lyrics. I'd recognize one of your songs among thousands. BECAUSE THEY'RE SO GOOD!

I just recently watched and fell in love with 'The Art of Jacob Emory' and this song compliments that story very much. You and Murphy did amazingly on this one! The emotion is clear, the beat is incredible and the vocals are great and catchy. This will be stuck in my head for days. This is beautiful.

I really do like how the cryptids aren't just some random beast that kills people because creepy, but because for their entire existence they've been manipulated and tortured by this one guy who wanted to feel big.
Its so much more frightening when the cryptid has a reason to be angry, because it means that the horror could have been prevented.
