why not have some feature turned all that makes all function inputs as readonly, as that should be default behavior unless someone really wants to change it.

But in rust its out of the box. And the rust compiler is like your sidekick or even a mentor. You should see the clean and precise errors thrown by the rust compiler. I totally agree typescript is one of the best thing happened to javascript. But still there is room for cheating with 'any', 'as unknown as T' etc, Please don't say you can add lint rules. We all know what we do when we are near the deadline. I feel like I am spending so much time in understanding the intricasies of the language, Making typescript happy and jumping between frameworks instead of focusing on the real problem in hand. I know this might trigger few people. But I spoke my mind.
