It really blows the mind how we can be so antagonistic or indifferent to US/Canadian oil and gas while begging OPEC for more oil or Europe spending years cozying up to Russian supply with seemingly no awareness of the geopolitical risks. The level of political stupidity has been off the charts. And there are always things politicians do that are annoying or dumb that don't have tremendous consequences - this does!
