This is insanely huge! Turrets respawning, new monsters, new runes! As a player from early on, this will probably be the biggest upheaval of how the game is played in so many different ways ever. Im pretty pumped to learn more.

So hype for this. I have been wanting them to do region-themed maps for such a long time now, and I love that they're doing it as part of the splits/seasons, but I would equally love to see them straight up add map choice to the queuing process. A simple veto option would do it.

I would go a step further and limit the dragons that can spawn on each map to 3, favoring specific types for each region. For example, Noxus would have Infernal, Mountain, and a third unique-to-Noxus one. I don't wanna see an Ocean drake on my Noxus map. Thematically incongruent.

Yeah, the Nexus Turret change is probably the best actual change for comeback mechanics in the game. Not coinflipping a game off a single shutdown, or getting free gold off an Obj even when it doesn't make sense, just nice, clean, and simple, if they can't close the game out now, you still have a chance.

spicing up the game in preparation for deadlock's release, quite possibly. It has a good lane and upgrade system, and I've noticed it's much easier to get moba players to try FPS games than it is vice versa.

Actually kind of hype. It will totally shake things up. I'm a bit nervous about 3 seasons being crunched into this next year but time will tell how it goes. I felt I was finally getting comfortable on this current iteration. I'm actually glad they kept the map mirror the same for this new year.
