I've lived in Missouri now for nearly 16 years. Turns out, I was born on the Missouri state's 130th anniversary. I recall hearing this beautiful waltz as a little girl but had forgotten it. Thank you for this sweet Missouri State Song memory!!💖

Scots Irish southern hillbilly music. Grandparents, great grandparents, dust Bowlers from Arkansas and Missouri. One of first lessons of life I was Cali Arkie Show Me boy. Feet on the ground and hands in the dirt. Surrounded by Alfalfa fields, cow manure, corn, potatoes, strawberries, , lemons, oranges, grapes, walnuts, the one time land of milk and honey as it gets. Food water shelter clothing, etcetera, all grown and made local, once upon a time in Southern California la la land. Border lowlands of Scotland said by some to be the original la la land. Low low land. Original Hollywood, Scotland. Los Angeles the city of not my kind of Angels, spelled in Old English, better known as Anglo Saxons today. Some claim sons of Isaac. Who knows?, not me.
