It's about making money and taking care of your family. This guy is acting like 5 million is chump change. I hope he stays a Niner, but Aiyuk has to do what is best for him.

Yes, that's one perspective. Another is that Aiyuk might go down with a career-ending injury, or at least one that makes him much less effective and able to command big money, in the next practice he participates in, never mind any one of the 17 games of the season. And even if he has a comparatively long nfl career, he'll be done by his mid-30s. So if he decides he wants to use his brief career to make as much money as he can, I wouldn't fault him. As a fan, I hope every player is totally in it for the love of the sport, the competition, and the desire to win championships. But I can't blame someone for putting the financial security of himself and his family ahead of all other considerations.
