Pie: YouTube's Next BIG Scam?

-Offers “free money”
-Random People in the ads talk about how “good” it is.
-Youtubers “love” it
-The name means something that’s “sweet”

Anytime I see an ad that says something like “free money“ i instantly know it’s a scam

The second I saw one of these ads for the first time I instantly said, “That’s definitely a scam”. Pretty much any free software that says they’ll give you money for using their software usually is a scam.

ive been talking about how stupid pie is, since its literally an ad blocker for youtube, on YOUTUBE ITSELF. and we all know that youtube cares more about getting rid of actual ad blockers instead getting rid of scams.

Was just thinking about pie this morning when I saw the honey controversy. Its funny how YouTube is banning ad blockers yet advertised a literal ad blocker.

Well look at it this way:
Ads cost money. If you were reaping in the profit as a customer, the company would be in the red. Therefore, be skeptical about claims.

The Pie adverts bypassed both my adblockers and that's what ultimately pissed me off about them. First time I saw it I was like "ha, that's funny, an ad on youtube about an adblocker. Then it continued and I got more and more annoyed by the fact that it was the only ad that I'd see despite my adblockers.

I was already skeptical of Pie; Honey being outed as a scam was just the final nail in the coffin for any chance of me using it.
