Pete, Tom and Mike, rest in peace, Badfinger is one of the best bands in history, what a shame that they don't have the recognize that they deserve

Badfinger is one of my dads favorite bands. He can’t listen to any of their songs without tearing up. I think it reminds him too much of his childhood but also the bands tragic end. It makes me sad to see him like that so I want to start crying too.

RIP Badfinger 😢

Badfinger one of my all time favorite bands. Their music holds up very well. Four talented singers and songwriters with a great sound. Look forward to new music from Joey. Mark Hudson an excellent choice of collaborator. Always enjoyed his work with Ringo.

This is most exciting! Joey Molland and Mark Hudson have really made a very BEATLES sounding record. It rocks!

I was 20 feet away from meeting Joey at a hippie fest show and I didn’t go up and introduce myself I wish I had !! One of my biggest guitar influences !

This is a band whose sad story would make a great biopic. They are the best example of predatory management killing a band. The Behind the Music episode is floating around YT, it is a heck of a watch.

Listen to their music often and bought the records back in the day. Hopefully going to put flowers on his grave later this year. Rest in the peace you all deserve.

I am a long long time Badfinger admirer. Do have the majority of their albums and even two hard to find Pete Ham s' solo cds with many demos or recorded ideas to develop as songs. I think that their record company (Apple or Warner), did loose the oportunity to release more singles, that deserved to be hits (like "We ' re for the Dark", "Midnight Caller", "Better Days", "Love Me Do", "Sweet Tuesday Mornibg", "Perfection", "Shine on" or "Know One Knows", "Love is Gonna Come At Last", "Just a Chance", "Miss You" and many others. And the best example of this being "Without You", a hit for Nillson, Air Supply, Heart and many others.

I saw them twice, once with Pete Ham and they were great, Billy Joel opened for them before he was popular. They were very tight live. Then I saw them with just Joey and Tommy and they still were good but not the same. They were very tight live and great vocals. Just sad. I know Joey Molland wasnt a fan of the Dan Matovina book and there was talk he was going to write a book. Just sad how they ended. Thank you for doing the interview, its rare he does them, why you are the best John...

I've got to say the new album "Be True To Yourself" is outstanding. I really didn't expect it to be this good. His voice sounds much better on this album than in recent performances. The production is very bright and clean which is perfect for these fresh sounding retro pop songs. The songs are consistently good from beginning to end. This is easily his best post-Badfinger work.

I’m new to Badfinger other than the “ Hits”. Killer band. So many Gems. The song from 1979 “ Sympathy” is awesome. Has some cool ass bass playing by Tom Evans. So 70’s.
