She is teaching people to be more aware of what people can see and find out about themselves. Good for her.

She's just doing what every level 5 clinger has been doing since the beginning of time!!

After she explained the process, it's actually super easy because everything is already public. Wether I realized it or not that I have shared something personal from how many years ago.

That stuff is super easy. If you want a real challenge, try doxxing the jerks who send those scam text messages. I have and found the guy and where his office was in India, which of course was a shared workspace, and I reported him to his email provider, his ISP and the registrar that provided his domain name and web hosting.

One gigantic nobrainer here is not to link your profiles or have interaction with your parents online, or boomers in general. What a facepalm.

Is incredible how much disregard for privacy and human rights in general do we have.

The key word is "consensual." Investigators use databases for searches when they are not consensual. There is a huge difference.

I put fake birthdays on my profiles years ago. It's funny to get happy Birthday on some random day lol. People who know you well still wish you happy birthday on the right day though.

Aside from YouTube comments I try to steer clear of social media. There's just too much info out there by each and ever

This is known as OSINT. She is just getting open-source information from searchable sources on the internet.

I've helped a few people stop doing that...
People that I thought were smart, respond to the posts that ask "name the city you grew up in"! And... "tell everyone what high school you went to" and "do you remember your first phone number"?? SO DUMB TO GIVE HACKERS YOUR PASSWORD CLUES.

There's no way her partner would cheat without her knowing about it.

I’m not even freaked out by this tbh. I already know if someone wants to find me they can. Unless I just go off the grid and live in a van somewhere. I’m not stressing about it.

Now you all see how all these tech companies track us. If it’s easy for her, y’all can only imagine for those who have top tier knowledge and resources.
