“Fall of the Peacemakers” is a must-play! You could say it’s their “Free Bird.”

Masterpiece! One of my all time favorites! I was 18, wild and free when it came out. I know every word, every note, every drumbeat and guitar lick by heart

Saw them with Nazareth in 1978 at the Santa Monica Civic. They were incredible live.

One of the staple bands of us southern rock fans back in the 70s.

Jammin'! I grew up in Murray Hill. Jacksonville Florida. Played frisbee in Hamilton Park with these guys not knowing who they were. I'm proud of my generation! We were musical bunch and demanded a lot from artists.

You really were born about 20 years later than you should have been.

I’m glad you also listen to the original. Nothing compares to Gregg Allman singing his songs.

Speaking of the Allman Brothers, you keep saying, "we ain't gonna waste no more time". Here's an Allman Brothers tune for ya. "Ain't Wastin' No More Time". Peace brother!

Please react to Boogie No More by Molly Hatchet, such a strong and groovy song through and through

They're doing Buddy Miles' arrangement of this song (done in 1970). The "I've got dreams to remember" line is a tribute to Otis Redding (who has a song by that name). And the song was written by Gregg Allman - The Allman Brothers does a great version too.

My favorite Molly Hatchet song. Solid.

Just listened to the Allman Brothers version, which I'm thoroughly familiar with ❤
This version is slicker, more rock n roll. Allman's is more blues, dreamy. Pick yer poison 😏

Boy, I remember playing drums in a garage band 20+ years ago; did this song, note for note. Very fun tune to play.

ive been waiting for Jamel to react to this and the Allman Bros version as well. MH did a great job putting their own spin on this. To me, listening to both is a music lover's dream (no pun intended).

Jacksonville, FL produced so much talent, with my favorite being Skynyrd. Molly Hatchet, .38 Special and Blackfoot (Native American band), and Ricky Medlocke originally was with Skynyrd, and is with them now.
