Ukraine implements power cuts after Russian strikes on energy infrastructure

Let's start in Ukraine, where the country's national energy company has urged its citizens to charge all devices,... ahead of new power cuts.

That's right,... the announcement comes as the Ukraine government implemented its first planned power cut on Thursday,... in a move meant to stabilize energy supplies.
It comes as many of the war-torn country's power plants have been hit by Russian strikes.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Wednesday,... 30-percent of local energy infrastructure has been damaged by more than 300 air strikes over the last 10 days.
Three energy facilities have been destroyed.
Residents have been asked to reduce electricity consumption from 7 AM to 10 PM to allow repairs to go ahead.
The cuts in power have left many concerned about how they will stay warm this winter.
