0:08 Narrator: Oh, yes. Yeah, Moses is quite a guy. Speaking of epic figures, the Bible has told of a bumper crop of them. But don’t forget, over here in the colonies, we’ve managed to come up with a few of our own. How about Paul Bunyan, Pecos Bill, Johnny Appleseed, Black Bart, Davy Crockett, Daniel Boone, Ichabod Crane, and of course, the one and only Tom Sawyer. Young Tom, if you recall, was a mischievous lad dreamed up by Mark Twain. Oh, he had a way with storytelling, did Mr. Twain.

I loved this album when the movie came out and I was 8. Hearing this song now (at 56) not only gives me goosebumps but I blinked away a tear. Little did I realize then, the impact John Williams would have on my life. And the Sherman Bros. contributed so much to my childhood. Was this video produced for Korean karaoke machines? If so I have to find out which bar, so I can get suitably sloshed and bawl my eyes out. And RIP Mr. Pride.

So weird that the finale theme song (composed by John Williams) was also the opening theme song of a popular Mexican show called El Chapulín Colorado.

I hate how the DVD version of this doesn't have the overture.
