This video covers the 2012 Formula One World Championship, one that many argue to be the greatest Formula 1 Season of all time. The 2012 F1 Season kicked off to a lightning start with seven different Formula 1 Race Winners in the first seven F1 World Championship Grand Prix. The Seven Formula One Winners were: Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, Pastor Maldonado, Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton. Both Nico Rosberg and Pastor Maldonado became new F1 race winners at the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix and the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix. In other news, Lewis Hamilton left British Racing Team McLaren F1, to join Mercedes F1, replacing 7-Time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher. Also Kimi Räikkönen returned after a two year absence driving for the Lotus F1 Team. The 2012 Formula 1 Season went down to the wire, with Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso putting in some fantastic performances for Red Bull and Ferrari. And at the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix, the two would showdown for a final time in the 2012 Formula One season, possibly the most dramatic Formula One Season of all time.

Alonso will forever remain underrated as he "only" won 2 world titles. But never forget that this man was few points aday from so many world titles IN LESS COMPETITIVE CARS!

vettel's most underrated season. Gaining back 42 point deficit in couple of races in the most competitive era of f1. He never gave up. Even after abu dhabi pitlane start or brazil crash.

Alonso‘s 2012 season was probably the best performance of and driver in the history of motorsport. What he did in that year with a car that was at times the 4th fastest, was absolute insanity.

Great Season, but it alwas feel slike people don't give Seb the respect he deserves for pulling of that late Season comeback.
My thought after the Italian GP that year was the the World Championship was Fernandos to lose and the only one that had a realistic chance to challenge him was Lewis.

You should do the 2010 season next. A very underrated season that you don't see many people talk about because of the 2012 season but 2010 had one of the most competitive title fights where come Abu Dhabi 4 different drivers could be crowded world champions.

Don’t forget Rosberg who wasn’t a champion yet but championship calibre driver. Also, Massa and Webber who both were championship leaders too. Top quality grid

Honestly you couldn’t write it. So so much came together. It truly was the greatest, just wish Schumacher could have been more competitive. Loved seeing him and kimi go wheel to wheel again

Very good summary of an epic season. It was truly a privilege to watch it live back then. A season which can be described with the quote from Vettel, "Remember these days, there's no guarantee they will last forever."

And we need more videos like these. The youngsters who started to watch F1 in late 2010s, for example, have no idea why Raikkonen was in F1 in the first place. They think he was there just to be material for memes instead of the stuff he was able to pull off in the notorious McLarens and during his first Ferrari visit.
