Angelina Jolie insisted that the dialogue for Aurora’s christening sequence should be written word-for-word off of the original animated movie. She believed that this scene was the main core and setup for the entire film, and the new story differs by having Maleficent give her a sleeping curse instead of a death curse.This scene also has cameos of Angelina’s kids, Pax Jolie-Pitt and Zahara Jolie-Pitt.

Fun Fact: Maleficent originally was going to be a Animated 3D movie that has completely different Story the movie would have been directed by Tim Burton and it was written by Paul Rini and would have been produced by Don Hann the project was in Production in secret in 2003 to 2005 when disney decided to cancelled that version and went for a live action one that just got released in 2014 Tim Burton left the project as he went to direct the remake of frankiwinne.

I like that a lot because if you remember, this movie is suppose to be from maleficent’s point of view of what happened. The original being what the kingdoms people said about her. And rumors and gossip of her intentions. It would make sense that the one time everyone is in the room together is the one thing both stories have right.
