I take down everything that says and looks like Christmas and I keep up the greens, pinecones, snowflakes, snowmen, etc. until February. I make my Christmas trees winter trees by taking off the ornaments and putting pinecone ornaments on instead. I love the coziness of the lighted trees in the winter. Your home is cozy and lovely!

Hello, Heidi! Yes, they do need to make the zippers the whole width of the pillow cases! Haha that’s hilarious “On Air” sign!

Such a great video! It is great to have a clean slate, even though things get messy trying to get there. I was so ready to take down my decor this year. I'm not sure why. I was even a little late getting it up. I noticed that we have very similar floor lamps. I love mine so much. I started out getting one for Jason because he kept hitting my table lamp with his elbow. I liked it so much that I got myself one, too. I leave it on the night setting most of the time. YES, I agree with the pillow cover opening. Why so small? I need to get us one of those caddies. Oh my gosh, those gifts are hilarious!! I need one of those lights because Jason and I have had the same conversations. Poor fellas, Lol. It's like welcome home, but dang, I'm filll-miiing. My comment is getting way too long so I'll catch ya in the chat! Great job!

Love to decorate for the holidays but it’s nice to get back to everyday decor after New Years. The gifts from your brother were funny. Looking forward to seeing the on air sign working.

I know - such a daunting task putting away all the Holoday decor. You really have to be in the mood. And, it always turns out to be more than you thought and/or forgetting one or two things that turn up 3 days later! Agree with the pillow covers! I'll keep my green pillow out a bit longer - they do feel wintery to me. Like you Keeping some of the winter stems out too - just removed any red berries. Also, kept some pine cone displays too! Was very tired yesterday afternoon after getting everything down, organized and cleaned! Love the sasquatch sign and the On the Air sign - too funny 🤣🤣! Happy New Year 🎉🎉❤️❤️!

Hi Heidi! I think your home is cozy and inviting either way. I'm still deciding whether to take down my decor, or leave it up a little longer, this year. Like you, I'm usually pretty over it after a short time, but I may enjoy it for just a little longer this year. We'll see. 😉 I like your buffet from the Christmas Tree Store. We don't have them on the west coast, but I have shopped at one in New Jersey, in the past. I'm sad that they are closing them. Have a wonderful New Year!
