Pacific Grove

Pacific Grove, California is one of the most beautiful places to live. As America’s last hometown we celebrate “PG” for it’s charm, classic landscapes, coastal access, historical architecture and naturally for it’s legacy as a monarch sanctuary. This short film features the lifestyle of locals in the community and the places we love; like our local organic restaurants and historical sites such as the Point Pinos Lighthouse. Outdoor adventures on the recreational bike path right along the Pacific Ocean, yoga, picnicking, tide pooling and gathering as a community to enjoy music and healthy food. Pacific Grove is a refuge for rejuvenation, offering lovely beaches for surfing and children including Lover’s Point and Asilomar state beach, all apart of the incredible Monterey Bay Sanctuary and just minutes down the path from worldwide renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. Wild ocean life such as otters, whales, and seals can be seen right from the shoreline that circumnavigates the Monterey Peninsula. Our Certified Farmers Market offers organic produce from Salinas Valley and Santa Cruz County. We feel blessed to live in such a beautiful community on the California Coast and celebrate this sweet hometown video with original song by native musician Josh Hollinger, directed by Michelle Magdalena Photography and shot and edited by Christopher Johnson. Pacific Grove and Monterey are my favorite coastal cities, because they are very quite and relaxing. I've never met a person whom has either visited or lived there that didn't love them. The ocean front homes are absolutely beautiful and the flowers that bloom are perfect for landscape photographers.
