Pinned Squirrel Jumps From Balcony and Belly Flops || ViralHog

This squirrel has gotten brave and eats out of the bird feeder every day...one day, he got pinned between my dog, Yoshi, and my neighbor. So, the rest is history.

Squirrel is fine. He wouldn’t have done that if he knew he would have been injured. Squirrels are magnificent creatures, their terminal velocity is low so they can survive jumps such as this with little effort.

Fun, fact, when a healthy squirrel jumps and spreads out like that, its terminal velocity decreases to the point that, no matter the height, it will not be going fast enough on impact to be crushed.

The squirrels around here target the dogs with walnuts. Tease them from the fence to yard back to fence. That balcony scene would have been squirrel encouraging the dog to climb over.
