I wish Fluval would support small businesses better instead of big companies like Amazon and Chewy. My local fish store has been waiting for their Hagen order for months. They keep getting told that their order is unable to be filled because the big box stores/online retailers get priority.

I have one on my 306, set to 8 hour; really can tell difference in water clarity. Also have a sump tank in conjunction with my Fluval canister filter.

Although none of my aquariums exhibit any "green" water I decided to add the UVC Clarifier to a 406 on 100 gallon freshwater that is situated in a brightly lit room. Very easy install and this video helped with the timer functionality. The only suggestion I have is Fluval should consider a separate mounting bracket that the clarifier unit can attach to. This way when the clarifier reaches end of life, a replacement unit can simply attach to the wall/cabinet mount rather than using new screws or reusing the same screw holes which will weaken when unscrewing/rescrewing into them.

Will Fluval release a UVC in-line clarifier for FX canister filter models & provide a release date? If so, will it be sealed like the one in the video or will Fluval address the issue so users can be able to swap out the bulbs?

I looked up the clarifier specifications and it says that the max flow rate is 930 liters/hour. If I run a Fluval 407 canister witch has a 1450 liter/hour pump, will the clarifier still be efective against cloudy water?

Hello everyone, I have have 2 407s running in a 350l tank and I'm assuming I will only need the 1 unit though? Also does Fluval do a PH monitor too, I'm glued to Fluval as the designs are cool and it would really be a handy accessory.

Hi there I have a pennplax 1000 canister. Now I know I don't have a fluva canister but seeing this product is wonderful idea to have if many measurements are 5/18 could I used it just is just a question? Thanks

I just purchased the Fluval UVC Clarifier. As long as the unit is placed with the hoses on top Is the water flow in the light unit Omni directional or is there a specific direction of flow ?

I am waiting for my Clarifier to arrive, should be tomorrow. I have got the Shaker252L set up with the filter underneath. How do I ensure there is no water in the pipe coming from the tank before I set up the clarifier?

This is probably a silly question (apologies if so haha) Does it have to be screwed and/or mounted to work properly? My tank is on a Frame stand so has nothing to screw onto unfortunately

Can this be added to the Fluval flex tank(32gal)? Does it have to be run with a canister filter? If so can I add a canister filter to the fluval flex and how would that be done without destroying the lid?

Hi, I have a green water issue in my 380 litre Ciclid tank . Have had the UVC Clarifier on the 24 hour setting for 4 days with no noticeable difference in clarity as yet. Am I doing anything wrong or does it need more time ?

The box has the unit with the hoses on the bottom and unit pointing up. The manual has the unit like this video with unit facing down and hoses on top of it. Which is the correct way?
