Thank you so much, I was trying to find a video that explained how to find oblique prisms because the height that was given to me was a slant height. I was using that for my height and I ended up getting it incorrect, I found your video and right there you explained not to use that but to find the vertical height. Thanks!

Where did the height of 8 come from? how was that calculated w/o knowing the length of the slant?

Hey man, but how do I use the pythagorean theorem if the triangle rectangle doesn't form with the perpendicular line to the base? I mean, if I'm using a very oblique figure?
