It’s about Ben staying sober - he never should have dated anyone much less jlo after being only sober for a short time.
Jlo is about Jlo and it was very apparent that she did not care about supporting his sobriety, especially after starting an alcohol line that was a nail in the coffin of this marriage

obviously, I don’t know Ben or JLo personally and you never know what’s going on behind closed doors of a marriage.

I read an article. Ben did back in 2017 w/NY Times. He talks about getting/staying sober and how addiction, mental illness and depression, running his family.
I hope he gets the continued counseling and has a 12 step program in place if he already doesn’t to help heal from his trauma.
In that article he mentions the following:
Father being alcoholic
Brother being a alcoholic
Grandmother committed suicide at 46
Uncle committed suicide
And his aunt who is a heroin addict.
