UNCONVENTIONAL Domino Tricks! - Hevesh5 & Kaplamino

This type of domino video is called a domino "screenlink" where each clip is built separately, then edited together to make it appear like one continuous chain reaction. Kaplamino and I live in different countries, so it was impossible to do it all in one take. Doing this video as a screenlink was simply a way for us to make a collab video together :) The first half the video was built by me, then at 1:44 it switches over to Kaplamino. The duct tape trick was unbelievable. To sync that up after resetting the dominoes to be reused for a subsequent leg was mindblowing, I had to re-watch that a dozen times. Unbelievable!!!

Several of the tricks you made were borderline machine tricks. The tilting board with the toppled dominoes as guides for the marble and the sonimod circle out of Trix Track blocks in particular. I love seeing videos where the machine builder mentality of "Everything I make has to be completely original" is applied to dominoes. I would say this video is possibly the best domino collaboration I've seen in a really long time. Really great job on this, I've been waiting forever for it to come out, and you did not disappoint.

So darn good. My favorites have to be 0:55, where the ball travels back and forth, 1:38 with the golf ball and hotwheels track piece going down step by step in the structure, and 2:36 where the track of dominoes inside the roll of tape get toppled twice...the timing as it falls into place for the second topple is just TOO perfect! Such an amazing collaboration from both of you. :)

Wowzers! This, guys, is what you call a masterpiece! Nearly everything in this video builds on existing tricks or are completely original. They definitely went beyond what I would normally avoid in a rally, utilizing tape, magnets, paper and kaplaminos (as in "kaplas" and "dominos") to stretch the boundaries of what the community ever made!
