UK Weather: Crowds flock to Bournemouth beach in sweltering heat

The UK has had its hottest day of the year so far after the mercury soared to 35C.

Londoners were seen flocking to lidos and green spaces and basking in glorious sunshine on Friday morning.

By 11am, the temperature in the capital had hit 30C, before a 35C reading was recorded in Heathrow on Friday afternoon.

It makes it the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures still set to rise.

It'll be the same clowns who complain, as and when there's a 2nd lockdown; oblivious (or dismissive) of their part in its necessity. Unreal.

Do people not understand that all they had to do was follow the guidelines for a few weeks and this could've been dealt with? Everyone's like "I'm not staying locked up in my home" and shooting themselves in the foot because if they'd have stayed inside in the first place they wouldn't need to stay home now. by going out you just prolong it and make things worse for yourself, what is the point of that?

Sad thing is Muslims were told to follow the guidelines and not meet in their gardens to celebrate Eid today yet you have these gammons flocking to the beach no problem. Imagine being banned from celebrating Christmas with other members of your family to open the TV and see people crowd up in front of a big screen watching a football game.
