my persian family are pretty evi l. they have good things they have done
and so on, but extremely abusive even through adulthood. my mom is a
good cook plus she was raised in bahrain and has that food, too.... but
when i was in junior high i wanted to learn and she made fun of me and
so did my brother. i ran out of the kitchen and never tried again. now i
am so happy to see so many persian cooking channels on here. so thank
you. you are very lucky you had a loving nurturing family. it really
makes a big difference and the feeling of sadness and loneliness never
really goes away when you don't have that. thank you for your channel.
:) i'm excited to make some things that i miss eating so much. (my
grandmother was amazing, tho. she passed away and i hadn't seen her for
years bc she went back to iran. but one day i was looking to see if
there was a recipe for her persian greasy macaroni she used to make me
and i think that's how i found your channel.)

Kshar, I beg you to revisit the traditional Persian recipes with a vegetarian twist! Ghormeh sabzi with mushrooms or tofu kabob. Your creativity is what we need in that niche.
