I truly do not understand why your channel does not have many more subscribers! Your content is fresh, fun, and achievable. I love it!😊

SO many people are struggling financially right now, but would love to be able change/freshen up their space. This was such amazing advice, I hope that it ends up on a lot of people's YT recommended lists! This was full of so many great ideas!

Omg, I love Rajiv! His “slow living” is really refreshing. He’s always learning and becoming “expert” at things like painting, making pottery, playing the harp. All around, he’s an inspiration.

One time I took a picture of someone that was visiting and later I looked at the wall and space behind the picture and realized how cluttered the room was. So I've learned to take a picture to see the room from a different perspective.. It helps me see what's not working for me. Also I'll go to the front door and pretend to come in and then see the room from a strangers point of view.
I liked your tips and ideas. I've always loved rearranging my furniture, makes the area feel new..💛💜💙

Redecorating with what I already have is my favorite hobby. Especially when I am broke 😅

I stumbled upon this channel a few days ago. And since then I think I've watched like... 10 of your videos. I LOVE them. I've been watching some other interior design videos and I was getting sick of hearing the same stuff over and over. It wasn't feeling educational; it felt judgemental. The vibes are IMMACULATE here. 😍

LK, your ideas were really great in this video. Due to health issues, after re-modeling, I got caught in a time warp...paperwork, everywhere, then piles...
This week I shall sort the paperwork and move what is to be saved to basement files (empty & waiting). Then, begin sorting stuff, one room at a time...save, donate, toss. I suspect donating will give me more than I am imagining. If I can bag it, I can bring it do a donation center one bag at a time. I can slim down possessions, since I am getting older, and need a lot less, rather than more. I had a showhouse...my gems will re-appear; they are under the piles. Your video gave me more inspiration than I have had in a long time. My jewels are underneath, waiting
to go back on the walls, and coming out on display. I am physically stronger, now, so I can tackle the job, again. There is hope at the end of my tunnel. Your "fresh eyes approach" grabbed me, today...just re-arranging things I already have, sounded so doable. My task is huge, but
I can succeed, little by little. New fabrics, newly upholstered pieces, new possessions, just waiting to go back in place, after waiting under
covers, for what seems like an eternity, to reappear. I can do this. Yes, I can. Thank you for your clever inspirations...

When I was growing up, my best friend’s mom would change things out (she had shelves of accessories in the basement and moved things to different rooms) every 3-4 months. It kept their home looking fresh and interesting. You really do stop seeing things when they are in the same spot all the time.

I have lived in my house since 1978. I saved my favorite stuff from my Grand mothers and parents. I shop in my attic I spend 0 on redecorating. My kids shop in my attic too!

Terrific video LK. My winter project is to paint my doors and baseboards throughout my 1963 apartment. I don't like painting at all but I know the impact will be huge. Thanks for all your suggestions. Jan

Taking out everything is truthfully the greatest. I recently had to do that for painting. A lot of work but had to do it anyway, but the result was revolutionary for me. Decided on a whole different direction for my front room, a 7 window upper porch with little wall space and my adjoining living room. Came out so much more cohesive because I started from zero. 😊

Moving things around, doing new colour combinations with things you already have, and rearranging collections always make my space feel fresh and interesting. Great video.

I think of a museum when displaying my collections; having too many to display at once, so, like a museum, I will rotate collections every few months or w/ the season. 😉

I can't tell you the last time I subscribed to a channel. Until today. Your advice is so simple but effective and as a very recent post grad, funds are tight. Thank you LK!

Q & A's - I like them - when all the questions are gathered ahead of time, organized by category, then can be answered. I'm not a fan of live ones; I don't enjoy watching someone scroll and search for questions.
