Inventory isn't updated until a POS session is closed? It doesn't even keep track of its starting inventory? With the version that I have, if you start out with an item with a quantity of 2 and you start a POS session and try to sell 3 at once, you'll get an error message. However, you can sell 2, and then sell 2 more, and then sell 2 more again with no problem. Once the session is closed, 6 will be deducted from your inventory leaving you with -4 items.
