NGREDIENTS:
Mutton leg: 3 kg (Make deep cuts)
Meat Tenderizer: 3 tablespoon
Lemon juice: 2 tablespoon
Crushed green Chillies: 2 tablespoon
Red crushed chillies: 2.5 tablespoon
Cumin seeds( whole) : 2 teaspoon
All spice ( garam masaala): 2 teaspoon
Chaat masaala: 1 teaspoon
Black pepper ( roughly ground): 1 teaspoon
Salt: 2 teaspoon
Red chili powder: 1 tablespoon
Paprika powder( Kashmiri mirch): 1 teaspoon
Tikka masaala: 2 tablespoon
Greek yogurt( hung yoghurt): 3/ 4 th cup
Ginger garlic paste: 2 tablespoon
Olive oil : 1 teaspoon
ROASTED VEGETABLES:
Potatoes: 3 ( cut in halves)
Tomatoes: 3 ( cut in halves)
Onion: 3 ( cut in halves)
Green pepper( Shimla mirch): 1 ( your choice)
Garlic( One whole bulb with peel)
Salt & pepper : 1 teaspoon
Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
RECIPE:
In a big wide bowl, add all of the spices listed above and mix it gently.
Add Mutton leg ( Raan) in it and rub the spices on it generously all over the leg on
Both sides and specially inside the cuts
Then cover it with cling wrap and put it in the fridge for marination for over night(I did it for two nights). Or for at least 3 to 4 hours.
Then take a foil tray and spread one teaspoon of olive oil in it and then add Mutton leg and vegetables in it .Sprinkle some salt pepper and one teaspoon of olive oil on vegetables. Rub it well and cover it with the foil and make some holes for smooth steam.
Then put this tray in the oven for 2 and half hours at 350°C for baking.
After this take the tray out and allow it to cool down for 10 minutes.
Then remove the top foil and put this in the oven for grill ( broil) for 15 minutes for give it a beautiful color.
Now dish it out in your favorite dish with vegetables.
Mouthwatering, yummy and juicy Mutton Steam Roast Raan is ready to serve and eat
Serve it with Naan or boil rice or with any dip of your choice. I used ketchup( My family loves ketchup🥫🥰) other than me Hahaha😅😘
