RUSH - 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. RUSH Performances, Finale and "Backstage"
After recently posting some of my personal videos of RUSH, I decided to post their 2013 Induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters had the honor of inducting RUSH at the 2013 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Followed by RUSH's Acceptance Speeches Rush and members of Foo Fighters perform "2112: Overture."
The Legendary Canadian Power Trio then remain on stage alone to perform their massive hits, Tom Sawyer and The Spirit of Radio!
During the finale performance of "Cross Road Blues" RUSH are joined on stage for a super-jam by fellow newly inducted Public Enemy and Heart and additional performers Dave Grohl, Darryl DMC McDaniels, John Fogerty, Tom Morello, Gary Clark Jr. and Chris Cornell.
Stick around to the end for a little backstage BONUS.
Enjoy!

If you enjoy the video, please give it a Like and SUBSCRIBE!
RIP Neil Peart.

I love how Dave and Taylor were more excited than the guys from Rush.

The fact that they played Tom Sawyer at EVERY SINGLE CONCERT from 1981 all the way up until their retirement in 2015 speaks volumes about how legendary it is.

Hard to believe two great contributors to drumming from this video are gone. Taylor Hawkins and Neil. Rest in peace.
Two amazing bands have suffered these terrible losses.

I will never understand why Alex Lifeson doesn’t appear on more all-time greatest guitarists lists!

How 3 people can be so brilliant still blows my mind after being a fan for 40 years.

So proud of RUSH for achieving this still. I’m glad the professor got to experience this before his passing. No drugs, no scandals, no break ups, no swearing, just perfection. 3 guys, so much talent and made this country proud. 🍁

Rush is the only band for me that means so much more than just the music on its own. They are/ were so easy to follow. Every year since 1974 they have given us an album ( remember those), no band fights that we heard of, no sign of drug abuse, maybe a little drug use. Each album they grew and it always took two or three listens before you get it. Then try you learn the lyrics, bass part and of course the drums. And no matter what they did you loved them, and you found certain songs you didn't like but you still listen. I love this band, if it matters or not I'm a 65 year old black man who grew up in a hood, thats how universal Rush is. I miss going to see them live. My first show was them opening for Kiss in Atlanta.

Sad day when we all RUSH fans lost our favorite drummer. Neil RIP. You ARE the drum master.

If there ever was a band who had raw, individual talent, it's these guys, truly great band!
