My parade growing up: the Bud Billiken back-to-school parade on the South Side of Chicago, the largest African American parade in the country; HUGE. I love that no matter what you have planned, you ALWAYS make time for the locals’ celebrations. You never separate yourselves from the people, like some other expat channels do. And your Spanish is on point!
