One of the most memorable ESC songs of the last 20 years. It's kinda genius in that it works both as comedy and as a super melodramatic operatic ballad. The "what are you doing man?" exchange made me fall to the floor laughing the first time I heard it.

Great comedic act were sings on purpose in broken English with a Russian accent and even the type of singing and stageing it is all part of the act.
At the same time the song is quite serious. Mix that together and you get a wonderfull entry.

Nalitch, one of the first Russian internet sensations. His song "Guitar" was a huge internet hit in 2007.
For me his song was one of the best from Russia.
Maybe you should react to Russia 2003. t.A.T.u. with "Не верь, не бойся, не проси". They were so close to win that year... If they were a little more serious, they could've won the contest.
