Team Spector! Nicki's entusiasm and joy makes these newer videos so much fun! What a great addition to the team!

I’ve owned both in their 5 string versions. I loved my Warwick until I played a Spector and got totally hooked.

Love watching reviews from musicians who are super enthusiastic about their instruments.
Team Spector all the way

I definetly feel like a warwick streamer would've been a more apt comparison than a corvette since the body shape is closer and the pickups are the same.

Warwick has a sort of growl that can't be dialed out no matter what.

Great vid. Some corrections: The Euro LX is still in production and it also has the battery compartment (these were added to the Euros in 2016), the LT is just an additional model. Depending on color the LX has Bartolini, EMG or Aguilar pickups. The main difference with the LT is the body is chambered for weight reduction (LT I imagine is for Lightweight) and it has a proprietary DG Tone Capsule preamp. Those are the main differences. Another difference is the Ebony board (though some Euro Special Editions have had the Ebony board as well); and of course, the LX has different finishes than the LT.

I have been a Warwick guys since the beginning but if I wouldn't play Warwick I would definitely play Spector. Both basses feel good in their own way. I kind of dig the brutal low end of Spector basses but what I love more is the growly tone of the Warwicks. Warwick just made it i the end for me because they gave me the tone that I wanted.

Just bought a Spector bass and I’m in love! The growl is real. One day I’d love to own a Warwick as well, but for now I’m all about that Spector bass! The moment I picked it up it just felt so right.

Wrong choice of Warwick. Should've picked a Streamer Stage I for a fair comparison.

So a neck-through bass with PJ single coils that costs nearly $3k has a more strident midrange and more clarity than one with a bolt on neck and dual humbuckers that costs a little less than $2k? Right. Who would've thought.

You honestly could've done this whole video with that Warwick and a Warwick Streamer NT with PJs, or that Spector against a Spector Eurobolt with dual humbuckers and seen just as much difference.

In any case, both Warwick and Spector make amazing instruments, so just find one you love and play it! If you find the instrument that truly speaks to you, you'll never be looking over your shoulder worrying whether you bought the wrong one. If you buy it because someone else said it was good, you'll always be left wondering what if.

They both sound good are very good basses. It really depends on the genre you're playing as to what would work better for you. I've had both a Streamer and a Spector and I liked them both. It also matters what pickups you have and preamp. I had EMG's and Aguilar OBP3 in the Streamer and that bass KILLED!!

Some of the best design ideas are the simplest, as a Warwick Corvette owner I cant believe that no other manufacturers have an adjustable nut! Its awesome and not the only reason I love my Warwick but its def a tick box.

The Spector is definitely the more attractive bass. That finish is beautiful. I'm more of a fan of Fenders, Rickenbackers, and StingRays myself though.

Spector by a long shot in both looks and sound.

This was a lot of fun and I learned that if I ever have long hair I have to have a fan blowing it around so I look cool while I play
