This song helps me when I'm feeling small. The phrase "life is what happens when you're busy making plans" describes me quite accurately. Medical problems (multiple sclerosis) turned my life upside-down in my mid 20s and the life of work, family, and what I thought of as success was shattered. It hit me very hard, and still does sometimes, but working for a living turned to volunteering when I was physically able and not being able to have my own children lead me to adopt the neighborhood kids as mine. It's been almost 20 years since my diagnosis and while I'm still limited, I try to live my best life. Mt volunteer work ended up shining the light of our organization's 90 years of history and helping patients understand what the clinic has for options and how our outreach could lead them to volunteer like me. With no children of my own, I got to know the children living around my area. Adults drive around the area with naira care, so with my adorable beagle puppy as backup I because a trusted adult who sets very reasonable rules like: Don't run into the road without looking. The pup and I will come to you. Things I felt should have been taught to them long before I arrived on the scene. I help them as I can, love and attention of my beagles and a friendly adult figure see as someone to differ, but willing to teach life lessons in reaspect common terms. Not only did my kids grow up, but be ready to face over the middle school of hell
