Running is perfectly fine and has manny benefit’s Beyond just burning fat and losing weight. Number 1 one to lose weight and fat is to run and lift weights together.

So why is it dumb...if it clearly works? All you have to do is reduce your sugar intake for a certain amount of time.
It's simply a matter of diet and exercise. What's dumb about that?

About 8 months ago I switched to only doing HIT(not HIIT) activities, and it has been nothing but good. HIT strength training, sprints, etc. I've never been happier, fitter, had better energy. No more 5ks for me.

Ye it's true that fat needs to go through a longer process to be broken down... Which is why zone 2 cardio works well as you can do it for long enough for that to happen.

So first you need to depleting your glucose storage and then train in zone 2? Whats you alternative according to your clip? Just saying dumb isnt enough

I started eating a much lower carb diet and when i found this channel i dug in and followed hit training 1 set full body slow reps to total failure my strength increased, and i feel great i work out only 2 x a week - honestly listen to this guy - what hes saying is going to help you

I think most people doing Z2 training are doing it to actually get fitter rather than to just “burn fat”

Actually you’re wrong. In order for you to use fat for fuel you need to be in an aerobic state. Sitting at your desk making you tube videos is an aerobic state. Fat is primarily your fuel source. When you are in an anaerobic state the body uses a glycolytic pathway and will use sugar for such things like weight training and HIIT cardio. I think it’s fair to say that we should train in all zones for the highest fitness level we personally can achieve. Some people think that zone 2 is easy and you need to murder yourself in the gym to get results and that is completely false. With that said even with the optimal program that one is doing the diet is critical whether your goal is the lose fat or build muscle. Diet lifestyle always trumps everything else.

Another problem is that using a high percentage of fat in ratio to carbs in a given low intensity zone may mean you still use less overall fat than during high effort training.
Example: Zone 2: 1 unit of fat, 0 units of carbs. Ha, 100% fat! Awesome. Zone 5: 3 units of fat, 6 units of carbs. Boo, carbs dominated use!

Makes sense as fat doesn't seem to move. But What is strange is that sleeping does make me feel like I have less chunky fat in the stomach

That’s why if you lift first and burn up a lot of sugar, then do your zone 2 cardio after when you body has no sugar to use for the workout.

This guys manipulating information. A lot of what he said it accurate, but when you do LISS, your body prefers fat burning when your muscle glyocen stores are depleted. Its a better alternative to HIIT or Lifting due to the use of glyocen. For LISS, after a 16 hour fast, and you start going into ketosis, LISS is a sweet spot.

You are misleading. Proper heart function relies on high efficiency of energy conversion. Mitochondrial oxygen-dependent processes transfer most of the chemical energy from metabolic substrates into ATP. Healthy myocardium uses mainly fatty acids as its major energy source, with little contribution of glucose.

What's dumb is you not understanding the principles og zone 2 cardio. Have you actually read or watched any videos on it? More than a youtube short?!
Go watch a couple videos on zone 2.
What did they tell you? That the first 30 minutes of zone 2 cardio is done to deplete your glucose and glycogen. After that first 30 minutes is when you start to burn fat.
Wow, glad you're not severely misinformed anymore.
