Big thanks to Chad for letting me make a video on some of his guitar collection. In this video I had the absolute pleasure of checking out TWO of the VERY limited edition C.F. Martin Acoustic Guitars released as signature guitars with John Mayer.

As most people know, I am a big fan of Mayer. These two guitars are something special, both have such a unique voice. The OM-28jm in particular had a very specific feeling to it, like it was PINING to make good music. (pun intended? I guess?)

Great video! I have OM28JM #54.One ofthe very few sold new in Norway. It is hands down the best acoustic I have ever played. It immediately becomes your friend, and it makes you play better. And it has some of that same mojo as you find in bursts and pre-war Martins. It is funny to see how it impacts everyone that get to try it :)

Love Martin guitars but the one that got me is the one John Played on Room For Squares (which is ironically other artist edition) Dave Matthews DM3MD. Fom these 2 I pick the OM-28, both sounding great. Excellent channel greetings from Argentina!

Nice, a little over my budget, so did some research, and stumbled on a Recording king Ros 627, that thing is Awesome, also own, a blue ridge 183A very nice and love the both, I do like the wider nut on the 627 at 1-13/16

The OM28-JM is a dream guitar of mine. Currently own a 2006 OMJM, I've fallen in love completely with it. I don't think I'll ever sell it, also own the sunburst signature start and just can't get enough of it.. What strings does he put on his OM28-JM?

I want to know about the om 28 jm, if it’s for sale, willing to save even if it takes a few months to make the purchase, but it I get it I know my life would be made, it’s a huge thing to me.

I wish Martin would reissue the OM28-JM! The OMJM is definitely a nice guitar but as he mentioned, it's not HIS guitar so it makes me question what I'm paying $3500 for. Plus the big pilot inlay is such a cool defining feature.

This guy is so perplexing to me...spends thousands of dollars on JM’s sigs, and clearly spends a lot of time trying to learn JM’s songs to cover them, but in nearly every playing segment, there’s glaringly obvious playing errors. I’m not trying to be a dick, but I mean, damn...tabs are free and widely available. I mean, come on...how can he not hear how off his second chord is when he’s playing WOTD?
