I’m Chinese American. I was born and raised in China. My grandparents and parents went through the devastating three year famine and cultural revolution. I grew up witnessing the brutality and corruption of the Chinese government and the agony they inflicted on the people in the name of socialism and communism. And this white college student, growing up in a capitalist country, enjoying free speech and freedom of religion, is telling everyone he is a socialist… this is insane…
