Catalytic converter thief run over by car he attempted to steal from: Sheriff's Department

A man is dead after he was run over by the driver of a car from which he was allegedly trying steal a catalytic converter in Palmdale.

This is really sad. I hope the 'Catalytic Converter' wasn't damaged too bad.

I can’t imagine any judge would find her at fault. A mirror check would confirm there was nothing around her to drive into, and she didn’t know what was going on underneath her vehicle. No sane judge would advise a lone woman to get out of their vehicle under nefarious circumstances like this.
