Saw someone's tip of loading up a dead body with all of your loot, and then carrying him around when you have to go back to the merchant. Haven't tested it but if it works, my pack mule will be named Wilson and I will be talking to him on the long treks in the zone

Im pretty sure repairs from red durability cost more then you get selling them. Just unload and drop any red weapons you find

when they fix A-life, ai in general and stealth, this game will be so good

The quests are very well done and cutscenes are probably one of the best i've seen in first person shooters

Besides the bugs requiring me to restart from my last save, the game is absolutely amazing. 9/10

The best combination for atmosphere is Ukrainian audio and English subs

Not sure why this wasn’t mentioned, but another thing the game doesn’t tell you is the location of the dread pirate 7 Toe Bill’s buried treasure which has been missing for centuries.

A game so dark you can't see any enemies but they have no issue seeing you

I died 50 times all before I left the lesser zone. Pretty sure I've made every mistake possible 😅

You really should have listed that most Artifacts emit radiation when equipped; this tripped me and my friends up when we were starting out.

Enemies are way too accurate when shooting at you.

16 hours in, hopefully this helps someone:
Mutants=Shotgun. Don't waste other ammo. Rats go down with a single pistol/smg shot(single fire mode).
Humans=Single shot at range, burst fire(when available) close, full auto/shotguns for emergencies.
For KB+M players, bind weapon mode toggle to mouse 5 for quick switching between single/burst/auto modes on the fly.
Don't use health packs at the end of a firefight. Instead while looting corpses, eat whatever food/use the bandages they have on them to gain health back(and not add weight to inventory). Additional benefit of staving off hunger.
Didn't find artefacts(so far) to be of much use, instead sell them and use the coupons to upgrade armour. Much more useful in firefights.
Keep atleast 1 scoped weapon in inventory(AK-47S you get near the beginning is worth upgrading, very easy to get headshots with fully upgraded gun).
Stash any ammo you're not using in personal stash.
Same for utilities: don't walk around with 30 grenades/food rations. Keep it to around 10, stash the rest. You get enough from corpses and scavenging around and the weight adds up pretty quickly(I was walking around with 4kgs of bread, fml).
Pick up yellow wear weapons if you have enough room, they fetch some quick bucks at weapon vendors. I also grab any PDA I find to sell.
Skif's Pistol costs nothing to repair. Even after upgrading, the repair is pretty cheap.

During the prologue before the cut scene that takes you in the title screen for the game.
If you drop your weapons you’ve collected during the prologue before the cutscene plays out after the cut scene you can go back and pick them up.
It’s not massively important as you’ll find more very quickly but if you want to make things easier that’s an option.
Although unique and interesting weapons such as a sop mod can be found almost the moment you arrive into the game.

One thing (i scrolled a bit and didnt see it so might aswell add it). Trading as well as repairing is massively cheaper/better (higher sale prices for your stuff) when done at traders that are marked green on your PDA. This means that they are "allied" aka your faction rep is high enough. Since green marked guides are also cheap i usually go into a base nearby, travel to a green one, sell my stuff and travel back to where i was. Massive profits and lower repair costs.

Highly recommend playing with a headset on. Full immersion and on Veteran it’s a necessity to know if a party is trying to flank you or if there is someone about to take a corner.

I'm going to struggle with that last one, I like to loot and pick up EVERYTHING I come across incase it's important or I can sell it 😂

Not a perfect game but it has been fun so far.. To me it’s like a day z / fallout hybrid.
