Using a CRT TV as a Second Monitor

Decided to have some fun with my set up and try something kinda unique.

No you got it all wrong. You have to use your CRT as your main monitor and the 4K monitor as the second monitor. Glad I could help 👍

This was pretty much my set up in like 2006. My video card had an S-Video out and the TV was bigger so the picture was a little bit more clear, but the same idea. It was in my living room and it was how we would game and watch TV/movies when canceling cable in favor of streaming was still relatively new. You can play with the windows display settings to make all the text larger on the 2nd monitor, which is nice when using it from a couch.

Its only 480i so it text wont be very readable but you can turn windows scaling up in display and that should fix the issue

i have the exact same brand crt! Idk how to get it to work though :/ i've tried displayport to av, and hdmi to av, but it just doesn't detect it! :(
