He also did "Lil Red Riding Hood, " a ballad about a granny and her love for animals.

Sam is Domingo Samudio, a Texan with Mexican heritage. He studied voice and classic music and later became a motivational speaker. He is 88 years-old. L-7 is square or very straignt-laced.

I was teen when this came out. In Southern California, at night sometimes Tijuana radio stations(blasting at illegal power) could get radio skip on AM stations and override Los Angeles stations and we'd hear songs like this with DJ's like Wolfman Jack

I am having so much fun, thank you! Would love to hear "Lil Red Riding Hood" as requested in the comments. I had no idea what L7 was... Always learning something new.

I was 6 at this time. My mom and dad raised me on all the great music of the 50's &60's.
I'm so happy they did. I took it from there, delving into the 70's, 80's & 90's. The rest is
history. Music plays a really important role in my life.

We have a saying, "Pull the wool" or "Pull the wool over your eyes." Basically, to deceive someone.

This Tex Mex music. You have to check out Sir Douglas Quintet (Doug Sahm)

What I really like about this video are the two groovy chicks standing in the midst of the band members!

This is such a fun song. I was 10 when this came out. I heard it a lot because I had a brother 10 years older than me. Love you reaction!
