£20k family SUV battle: Ford Kuga vs Nissan Qashqai

Sometimes you need to be sensible, and family SUVs don't get much more sensible than the Nissan Qashqai and Ford Kuga. Both are about £20,000 on the used market, so we sent Tim to get soaked in the woods to compare them back-to-back to see which is most worthy of your family car money.

Kuga by far, the engine 2.5 Hybrid is very reliable. The Qasqai is like a french car, using renault engines.

I'd have the 911 gt3 rs. You'd get to Tesco, realise you have a small boot and buy less crap you don't need. That makes the 911 the environmentally conscience choice!

Qashqai for sure. We're about to get the new e-Power version in Tekna+ trim.

Well l have owned a Kuga NOT AGAIN thank you I now own a Nissan Qashqai fully recommend and will buy another Nissan next change!

The newest versions of most cars nowadays are getting very weird looking and minimal. I like lots of features in a car interior.

kuga more mph eg and qwiter to drive as have a new 2.5 full hybird and apeox 5 mpg

All I can see in the Kuga is cheap plastic the Nissan is way better quality

Both are extremely dull. Buy an estate which is far superior.
