Cord to Cordless Drill Conversion From 100v to 18V

The use of electric aluminum drills is very dangerous. Especially when the repair is not correct or in some wet condition, it is easy to shock the user. In my country, this​ case has already happened. That is why they do not use this type of drill. But I really like the quality of its metal, it will be safe if it powers by battery. So In this video, I will show you an easy way to turn this drill to battery drill.

I like how well the battery fitted to the drill. The only downside is to replace the brushes, since the new motor is so small and deep inside the machine. But since you don't need to replace them so often, it should be fine.

Why didn't you drill & threaded a hole for a setscrew in the gear part that you affixed to the motor axle? Theres enough material to screw in a little hex setscrew, or even 2 setscrews if balance is important. Feels lile that gear is gonna come loose after a time and then the motor will spin freely without the drill spinning.

I mean I could not have built it myself and I think it's very nice and seamless how you did it but I think it deserves a little bit more power my grandpa had one of these and it was able to easily drill holes in stumps but that's just me you're giving it new life so it's not the same tool it was happy to see it's not just resting away somewhere very good job
