Uganda negotiating for release of 2 journalists held in Juba

The Ugandan government is in talks with their South Sudan counterparts to negotiate the release of the two Ugandan journalists arrested in Juba last Saturday.

The journalists, Justine Dralaze and Hillary Ayesiga were arrested for reportedly filming without being accredited to do so. Their driver Mohammed Bukenya is also in detention.

The government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo says the trio, are unharmed and well.
