Please help! If u are familer with apple iMovie? If so I need a editing program thst will have a feature like iMovie.... When u select the "parts" of the clip onto your edring timeline....u can still see the "ORIGINAL" clips up on top and there is a little colorful line n the Bottom of them clips that shows what portion u have used in the editing timeline. Does this program allow u to do this?

DOes version 16 take advantage of Intel QuickSink / the media encoders decoders on Intels iGPU's? The box only says "takes advantage of hardware acceleration" which doesn't sound promising... like all ti does is use the Nvidia media decodes on a dedicated graphics card. I'm wondering if it really would make much use at all of the iGPU on a 13900K

A couple of things that I cannot figure out on Vegas 16 Platinum. One is why the video fx don't work (like brightness and contrast). The button above the preview screen says the fx are bypassed (why????). One time I got the fx to work but, don't know what I did to do it.

Also, when making a movie (like an mp4) a huge resolution comes up (3 - 4k pixels) even though the project is only 320 or 640 pixels. I can go to advanced but, there's a confusing selection that gives no user defined parameters. Out of frustration I usually just go with .wmv at either 512k or 3M and always wish I had more control.

What are the specs on the laptop you all use for it? My laptop that I thought was totally capable of using it apparently isn’t, so I’m probably going to upgrade sometime here soon.
My issue is that preview quality is so poor that I cannot edit any videos. It jumps many frames at a time and is very distorted. Usually causes everything to freeze.

Ребята, всем привет! есть вопрос. Помогите выбрать новую версию! У меня сейчас Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0. Лицензионная. Стоит на 10 Винде. 64. Постоянно сбоит. Большие файлы, свыше 500мегов иногда не принимает - сразу вырубается. Ну и вырубается при разгрузке файлов в 4K. Но нравится интерфейс - я просто уже привык. И то, что на русском. Поставил сейчас демоверсию на 30 дней 16 вегас. Он на английском... Засада конечно. Но это ладно бы. Так так же работает нестабильно! Постоянно сохранять надо. Иначе вылетает... Что скажете?

So, uhh, i have movie studio 12 platinum AND movie studio 16 (i got movie studio 16 later on humblebundle). Do you perhaps know the difference between them? I find movie studio 12 platinum to be more comfortable to use for some reason.

Can someone tell me how the background of the intro at around 0:20 seconds gets transparent? First it is blue, then the chipmunk clip takes the transparent part of the intro. How does that work? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you!
