Thank you Trevor because my son is your age but is Autistic. It was a brain injury at birth. It’s a long story but I appreciate this and you. You remind me what could’ve been with my son. An average life. I know your isn’t. I grew up in Brooklyn in a very violent neighborhood. The Brownsville section of Brooklyn. I identified with being African American first. My parents are from Puerto Rico. I now Live in a Beautiful place with much Racism. I learned to read and write as an adult and became a Nurse. I’m sick and alone. No family to come visit or Help me. My neighbors got me arrested by lying and saying my African American ex-husband had beat me up. Which turned to a drug charges. It’s horrible living like this and knowing I will most likely die here like this. I have metastatic Breast Cancer and Sarcoidosis. You were lucky to get away. I am a Caucasian woman but still the abuse is here. I guess this is Life
