I tested the NT1 against the neumann tlm-102 and they were so
close in character when mixed they could not be differentiated.

The AT 2020 was my very first mic, and 10 years later in the game, I'm still using that same mic. I added the Blue Bird along with it and they're my go to microphones. I'm thinking about adding the Rodes NT1 as well, I'm still thinking about that one.

Rode NT1 is the best mic available under $300. The low noise floor and full sound cannot be beat. Great video!
