It frustrates me when people act like moving out of the way for people with disabilities is not also a societal expectation. Why is it more rude for me to walk where I am safe than it is for them to walk where they are comfortable?

It blows my mind that people would walk up to someone clearly using a guide dog and tell them they aren't walking appropriately. I'm sure Elton knows how to lead better than a random stranger.

Something I love about my city is every time I've seen a visually impaired person, usually w a caretaker or cane, everyone clears a path, including objects in the way ! Like without anything being said. There is now wrong way❤

It makes me ridiculously happy to see you and Elton are enjoying Paris! Such beautiful walks and parks! One tip, there are public fountains/filling stations with free sparkling water at several parks! (and, yes, they are right next to the regular water and it can be surprising!)

Some people don't know how to act around blind people and often make things worse.
You're educating others so they don't interrupt your process of accomplishing your tasks.
Whether you're crossing the street or maneuvering through an airport, you don't need our help.
People don't need to grab your arm and lead you across the street. Unless you've asked for assistance, Elton can handle the situation.🐕‍🦺
