Domestic work makes all other work possible. Care workers occupy an integral position in the interstices between work, family, and society, yet their work is often overlooked and underappreciated. This discussion explored workers' experiences, and ways to combat injustice.

The panel included National Domestic Workers Alliance Director Ai-jen Poo, Maria Reyes, National Organizer for the National Domestic Workers Alliance, and Stanford undergraduate Irene Jor, whose honors thesis explores the California Domestic Worker's Bill of Rights campaign. Professor Debra Satz, Senior Associate Dean for the Humanities and Arts and Director of the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society, was moderator.
