The Wanderer

Graduation film from The Animation Workshop/VIA UC: The Wanderer goes through an entire life during the course of the day and dies when the day ends. In the end he comes to term with the conditions of his life.

First I thought of it as a hymn to the circle of life, but then I recalled those fungi that infect ants and make them crawl high up to spread it's spores - and then this film became a whole lot creepier!

tbh I've tried out both 3D and 2D animation and 3D seems like it's the easy (lazy) way of animating. So personally I don't like it and in this animation it really looks a bit lazy. maybe it's just that I don't like the art-style or disapprove the 3D animation technique. Don't listen to me my art is no good, but still I know how these things work and would much better prefer this being a 2D animation.
