Continuing with Sega September on my channel today we will be Analyzing Space Channel 5. This game is bizarre and whacky, but filled with charm. I will be going over some of the development, gameplay mechanics, weird stuff, and my own review score.

Wait a second..., if "Chu" means "Shoot", so that means that the other Dreamcast game called: ChuChu Rocket! it means ShootShoot Rocket!?.

Funky video! I've never played this but have seen this character before. Your video taught me alot because I didn't know anything about this game but definitely looks interesting for a dancing game. I will have to get this whenever I get a dreamcast

Good video! I played this game on actual hardware ages ago. I loved the style and zaniness that Sega always nailed. I wanted to like this game more, but, yeah, I had trouble with some input lag when trying to time the button presses. It always seemed a fraction off from what was being displayed to my actual button press, which made it almost impossible to play through even the first level! It sounds like you had the same issue. I'm curious if any ports of this game fixed that timing issue as I've heard many people mention it with the Dreamcast version.

Michael Jackson seemed to work quite a bit with Sega. I forgot he was even in this game.

I was wrong. The VR demo actually got turned into a real game. It's apparently not much content wise, but any new Space Channel content is a good thing.
