Wednesday ( The Smiling Man ) - Horror Short

Based on the short story "creepypasta" The Smiling Man. This quiet little short horror film was assembled over the course of only three days.

I love how there are so many versions of these & they are all good! It was interesting how you made the 'silence' after a heavy snowfall the backdrop to this Smiling Man entry. While I agree with others that this 'SM' wasn't as creepy as others, I am wondering if that is deliberate on your part? Because often real Evil does NOT appear as threatening or scary....until its almost too late. Lastly, it was a change to have it end basically like the 'original would-be victim (man) escapes but will likely never walk alone at 2AM again! Good work here.

Gosh, I felt this. Had a similar experience. When I got home, it was still out there. I told it to go away, it never came back again . I swore to the cosmos.🙄 Frightening.

I'm not usually someone who laughs easily but
I laugh so hard at these smiling man videos.
I think they have the most unique comedy in the world.
This is not a criticism or a joke.
It's beyond perfect.
There should definitely be a sequel.

I’m trying to remember what I saw, it was something like this where a guy was being chased. He got away. Took a breath, and then after a few seconds you notice the guy in the background was sprinting after him at full speed.

snow as the environment is a nice change of scenery, but the smiling man was just not intimidating enough, sorry.Maybe if he were taller or older?

I like this one in that it's true to the story. The way he tiptoes up to the main character is the best I've seen, very cartoonish as its meant to be.

Only small thing is he's meant to look upward the whole time and he wasn't wearing an "old suit". I can forgive these things as this is very good. Well done.

The main guy did some good acting. The Smiling Man looks like a nice guy, though... not the least bit threatening. I suppose that’s a compliment.
